National Day of Mourning 2017

On this settler colonial celebration of genocide and theft of Native lands known as “Thanksgiving”, NativeNewsNow will be covering the 48th National Day of Mourning at the site of the original Plymouth colony on traditional Wampanoag lands.

We will be live-Tweeting from our main twitter account (just click the Twitter icon on this page) and we will be posting a written account of the days’ events on the NNN website, along with some of the responses from other Native and Indigenous peoples in attendance.
